Face masks made from upcycled cotton sheets. There are three layers and an opening for adding a filter. Durable cords. An incorporated nose clip makes sure there are no air gaps. Comfortable to wear.
There certainly exists far sexier masks to wear, but this one is made for safety, not looks. This is also why I didn’t opt for the more fitted version with a vertical seam in front, as the stitches apparently poses a risk for bigger particles to pass.
According to French authorities fabric masks needs to be changed every 4 hours, and washed at 60 degrees Celsius for at least 30 minutes. Avoid touching the mask, only handle the cords when taking it on and off. Not a replacement for medical masks.
